As an English teacher in China you will…

  • Produce exciting and engaging teaching material to supplement your classes.
  • Use your creativity to make your lessons as interactive as possible,  maximising your students’ learning potential.
  • Conduct meaningful and relevant activities to help your students communicate effectively in English.
  • You should be patient, punctual, responsible and inspiring.
  • Have an awareness of cultural differences with the ability to adapt well in new environments.

The Job Details!

What to expect from teaching in China…

  • Subject: English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
  • Location: Beijing, Shainghai, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen.
  • Contract Length: 12 month to 24 months.
  • Salary: 14,000RMB to 30,000 RMB .
  • Start Dates: February & August. Some positions are available all year.
  • Teaching Hours: Up to 25 hours per week.
  • Holiday: Chinese national holidays (11 days) & annual leave (5-10 days).
  • Flight allowance: 6,000 RMB.
  • Students: Aged 3-12.
  • Training: Provided.

The Requirements!

All you need to get started…

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree (no specific degree is required as training is provided).
  • You must be a native English speaker.
  • Meticulous time keeping.
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness of your learners’ needs.
  • Minimum 120-hour TEFL certificate. (If you have no teaching experience).
